We're looking to the future and planning how the museum will grow, tell new stories, and develop our historic site at Filton.


Maintenance Technician

Aerospace Bristol is looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join the Facilities team.

As Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintenance tasks across a large museum site:

  • You will work as part of a busy team which includes Security Officers, IT Technicians and onsite contracted cleaners.

  • Undertake a wide range of reactive and planned maintenance tasks such as; plumbing, carpentry, repairs to building fabric, painting, grounds maintenance, emergency light testing, fire alarm testing, fire door inspections and much more.

  • Play an important role in ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our staff, volunteers and visitors.

  • Be responsible for supervising visiting contractors, volunteers and work experience trainees, Ensuring they follow the museum Health and Safety rules.
