Aviation Heroes
We pay tribute and honour the bravery of pilots and flight test engineers from the British and Colonial Aeroplane Company and the Bristol Aeroplane Company who gave their lives to achieve today’s high level of aviation safety.
The names of those who tragically lost their lives between 1910 and 1960 will be remembered here and with a new memorial at Aerospace Bristol which will be unveilled on 6 November 2025.
Urgent Appeal
We do not have next-of-kin for all 42 people who lost their lives and want to hear from the families and friends of those we honor so they can be part of our remembrance. If you know of, or are connected to, those who lost their lives, please contact Adam at adam.jones@aerospacebristol.org.
